Line-in Buzz when inactive? (XonarD1)

Hi guys,

heres my situation

I have a set of Aego M 2.1's (which are brilliant) and a Xonar D1 card (which is also brilliant apart from this issue). Im using a line-in/out from my monitor to my line in port on the card, this is so that I can use audio on my xbox 360, which works fine. However, when the xbox is off and the line-in cable is not removed from the card there is a buzzing sound like interferance, any idea what causes this and how to stop it? at the moment im just taking out the line-in cable and plugging it back in when i want to use the xbox.

lol, u know as dumb as it seems i hadnt even though of doing that, il try 2moro as im so knackered now im gona get some sleep. Got lecture at 9am :|
