Line Monitoring Tools

I'm looking for some tools to monitor line data from the pc. I know it is possible, my modem is a netgear 834. Anyone have any recommendations

That looks good, the one I am thinking of runs in background on the pc but you can then see what the line quality has been like for the last x hours. I have been getting some one drops and just trying to narrow them down

This is what I was looking for http://www.vwlowen.co.uk/internet/files.htm, monitors the data in background. Prtg is a bigger solution by the look of this but this I think will be better for seeing why the connection s dropping
