Well it won't be, firstly they were MMO's while this is very very similar to Diablo 3 gameplay.

What i meant in my post was i loved them games, but then i also liked Guild Wars and am looking forward to Guild Wars 2 which are also NcSoft games.

They might have been a huge grind fest, but in the end they were good games and without the grind would have been a lot more popular but in the end it doesn't stop them being NcSoft games.

I am eagerly awaiting this now, as to be honest i've grown bored waiting for Diablo 3 and i don't think it will live up to expectations.

Pretty sure they're classing this as an mmorpg. At least they kept calling it one in the video. And yeah obviously it's not like most mmo's, and can easily be compared to diablo style gameplay.
 
Well i hope not, from looking at the video there would be no longetivity in it being an MMORPG.

But as competition for Diablo it would have,either way i am looking forward to this now though.

Depends if they will introduce pvp into it. I can see it being pretty fun pvp wise endgame.
 
That looks amazing on the above videos. They better release English version of the game when it's released in Korea. There is a market for this type of games, Diablo, Path of Exile and other similar games are quite popular.


Also the GFX looks amazing and the gameplay looks very solid too.

Is there any release date etc at all?
 
Sadly it's all speculation regarding release dates although rumours have it that NCwest will be publishing it for NA.

There's so many aRPG's released/releasing in Korea that really need to come out here. Check out this game also, Lost Ark Online... jaw dropping !!

 
Just seen that Lost Ark video does look very very shiny.

18 playable characters. Why can't Diablo 3 look this shiny.

Oh did I mention it's shiny.

Looks excellent and all but I'm just not a huge fan of isometric hack and slash games :(

NCSoft, pretty pretty please make Aion2 instead? :D
 
It makes you think though doesn't it, just what do the Korean's have in their coffee? :p It might not be to everyone's taste but the visual designs and creativity are so far advanced to the bland stock stuff we get in our aRPG's or MMo's.

You should check out the Lost Ark website, looks great but I just can't work out the registration yet :(
