Links crossbow training?

I thought this was supposed to be a bit like wiiplay in that you actually buy it for the zapper, but they bundle a short game with it to make it better value.

Yes it does ...as for tp i've got that as well class game but this
is abit different quite good fun if you liked point blank then this
is for you.
For £20 you can't complain really got the rest of my family
using the wii again so can't be bad.
 
Looks like a decent small game and a useful bit of kit for future FPS games, Have it ordered from an online supermarket for £15, waiting to see if it comes through.

Whats so special about the zapper? Isn't it just a piece of plactic you attach the wiimote/nunchuck to?

Aye. Don't think it's anything spectacular. I suppose it makes it a little easier to aim as you're using two hands to steady the IR. I imagine it neuters the use of the sensors in the nunchuck though.
 
I would have bought this with Umbrella chronicles if it ame with it but im not going to get this just for 1 game, saving up for Wii Fit :)
 
My mate bought his zapper round today. I thought it was going to be rubbish but its a lot better than I thought it would be. It makes aming easier. Im going to pick myself one up next week when I get paid along with resi evil umbrella
 
sadly i haven't seen any good reviews of umbrella chronicals or ghost squad so ive put off buying a gun addon... the zapper does look cool i think..... kinda limits you to only using the trigger button though as i would assume you cant really reach any of the buttons on the wiimote while using it
 
Resi is averaging around 78% atm is that not good enough for an old school shooter? Its hardly likely to score massively in this current day and age and we can't play 9s and 10s all the time. If we did that we would miss out on some gems that are a little rough around the edges.

I say pick it up if you see it at a slightly cheaper price. Have it on my rental list co-op looks fun at least.
 
I think it's just the stability it grants being 2-handed. I think IGN have said it didn't make more advanced players more accurate, but I imagine it does help for simpler games like Crossbow Training and Umbrella Chronicals.
 
there has been a few nice looking guns on wii fanboy recently, just hope they come out.
1 of which was a pistol which had better mapping than the wiimote
 
Haven't been able to find a single place over the Christmas period with the wii zapper instock - neither online nor locally. Gutted! The prices on the bay and that are ridiculous - going for £35-40
