At times, not much, the wireless seems to go down for people in a room a tiny bit down a hall. Anyway, they are maybe 30ish feet away from the router (never really measured), but I am always fine on the wireless. It is a E2500, I looked at reviews, they all say nothing bad about wireless range.

What's additionally between the router and their devices which could cause intermittent interference?

I once had to sort out the internet in a customers house, and his router and PC were in different rooms, however, they seemed to have only a cupboard between them.

The thing is, that in the cupboard was their ironing board.

Once we moved that, their internet was flawless.

Wireless can have all kinds o things that can affect it. Pipes and wires in the walls / floors etc do affect it more than you would think it seems.
