Hi,

Firstly sorry to place this in here and feel free to move if necessary.

I have a linnmon desk which is great as it gives me large deskspace area for very little money. However I am now adding to my collection of hobbies/pastimes with "music making" in the loosest sense and would like something very similar to what I have with the dark-brown or even black finish which would be a solid alternative to the linnmon particle board effort. I'm looking for a 750mm x 2000mm work area and 30ish mm deep.

Anyone have any suggestions could even me a plain black finish gloss, matt or any other finish considered as long as it is dark.

They dont offer anything really dark. Also they only have 60cm deep worktops that are close to fitting the bill.

Think I've sorted out something now anyway.

Just setup 40kg of solid oak worktop. Much, much better. Although to be expected, the linnmon is a great way of maximizing deskspace on the cheap but it is what it is..

Didn't go the dark route in the end. Just a standard oak finish which has a nice contrast in the room.
