I'm using Linux Mint 18.1 - I'm looking to upgrade to a AMD Fury graphics card.
As Linux Mint 18.1 is based on Ubuntu 16.04, I tried using a R9 270X with a recompiled 4.9 kernel with support for GCN1.0 cards enabled but I'm getting corrupted fonts.
Has anyone already used the Fury/FuryX cards under Mate/Cinnamon with the closed source AMDGPU-PRO drivers?
