I found this link today I thought it might be handy for people who are not sure what Linux distribution they should go for. It has a test to help you decide.

It recommended MEPIS to me. I'm in the process of burning a CD to give it a try.

I use Debian with KDE, and Xubuntu.

It recommends Ubuntu, mint, kubuntu, and debian. Not bad.

Hmm, it suggested almost every distro as 100% suitable apart from gentoo (which i use) which it failed to list.

These things are always a bit predictable if you're familiar with the big distros and their stated or stereotypical intended audiences.

Mine came up 95% Gentoo, 95% Slackware.

It recommended Mint and Ubuntu for me, I've tried both distros and prefer the look and feel of Mint, very impressed with it so far.

It recommended mint for me to, but I use Arch linux. Arch was never mentioned.

I think it recommends Mint/ubuntu to everyone, as its so "it just works" hehe

Nice, 90% gentoo/arch linux and some other one, I forget which. Used gentoo before and now on arch. Works

see its like recommending all the "n00b" distro's... it did it to me.

It assumes Arch/Gentoo/slackware is only for uber geek software developers.
