Any suggestions for a distro specially for Folding? It really doesn't need anything other than the ability to connect to the Internet, no GUI necessary really. I'm thinking the smaller the better, however i believe it has to be 64 bit for the client to run.

Would a form of BSD work? Or does it not run?

Oh, and preferably bootable via USB.

The last time I checked CHAOS (based on the OpenMosix suite) supports folding 'out-of-the-box', it can boot from the network or CD, and it pulls the WUs from the master node. You then benefit from all the things that a cluster provides, load balancing etc.

It was a long time ago since I had a look but it may be worth checking out :)
