    My Linx has died.

I just bought a Gigabyte tablet and its actually not bad at all. Bit slow, but hey ho!

Now, with the Linx, I had a keyboard for it and that had a pad on, and so plopping Linux onto it, was fine.

This does NOT have a keyboard, and so I'm wondering about throwing Linux onto it.

When you install Windows, the on-screen keyboard pops up doesnt it? - and in android, whenever you need to type anything, the keyboard pops up there for you too! - but what about Linux?

I have actually never thought about it I have to admit.

So, is there a version of Linux that is made just for Tablets, or that knows about this, or is this a silly question? Mine usually are!

    Thanks in advance.

Search for Ubuntu Touch. It's still in beta, I think.

If you are really brave, give it a whirl.

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Ok, Ubuntu Touch... I will definitely try it. Thanks.

KDE is useless for a tablet.
I need it to be a touch-screen and KDE simply doesnt work on the tablet.
    Yes, I tried.

I would have thought plasma-mobile was touch but no idea as never tried, odd if it's not.
