Linux & gr. card

I have managed to get 'gcc' installed, now it comes up with 'libc' required. Had a look through the CD's and can only 'libc-client' etc which seems to be for mail. Please help again.
If I get that I wonder what will be the next problem?

Linux & gr. card solved

Eventually succeded in getting Suse 10 to work.
Changing "nv" to "vesa" got the cursor pointer to become visible.
Managed to get Nvidia driver installed.
Managed to get Firefox working by the method below. Might help somebody

> Find network.dns.disableIPv6 in the list.
> Right-click -> Toggle.
> Restart Firefox/Mozilla Suite and try again.
> If this doesn't work, re-enable IPv6 by resetting the preference to "false".".
