My laptop arrived yesterday. I did try putting ubuntu 6.10 on but it crashed half way though. As my pc is already on the blink and with a dissertation to write I've bottled it and just stuck with XP for now.

I will probably put vmware on soon and use linux via that.
The laptop itself is really nice. Battery life is good, nice features with a fingerprint reader and webcam built in. Its pretty quick with the Duo Core chip, 512mb ram and a 5400 rpm hard disk. Looks a bit chunky, most of thats probably due to the wide screen. All in all, a nice laptop. I'd recommend it.
