Coming a bit late to this thread but worth a mention, been using nzbget for a good while. Command line based but once configured it does everything with minimal fuss.

There are the .deb packages posted earlier for SABnzbd+ but there is also a repository run from their forums which will update your install automatically.

Mine is running on a NAS, accessed via web interface on the main PC.

Uptime : 38 days. :cool:

How intensive is the unrar/par process on a machine? Could I downsize to an older spec machine or is it likely to fall over?

My NAS has a 266MHz CPU and can cope with it.
