Linux or Windows (SMP)?

Hi guys,

I have an E6600 and have been running the winsmp client for...I'd say about 15 minutes...I've noticed a lot of you run linux in vmware and use the linux client instead. Is the linux client that much better? even with the vmware overheads?

Any info or example benchies would be appreciated.

Cheers, I'll stick with windows for now until I redo my gentoo build and will then dual boot.
