This is kind of an addition to my NAS post...

Is it possible to get a linux based VOIP ATA?

I currently have a PAP2 but would be nice to be able to replace it iwth some kind of linux/modem setup..

Not sure if its even possible but thought id ask...

I'm not 100% sure but I think that this is something that you might want to look at!

Asterisk - Open Source VOIP/SIP toolkit

It maybe what you are after - have a read! it's hugely scalable.
