Behind you... Naked!
I got one of these , had it for a while, and I found it again the other day.

Its got Win10 on it but its running so bad, that I thought I would reinstall.

The thing is, that I just cannot for the life of me get it to boot from the FlashDrive.

I have set it up with EFI mode etc, but what I am doing, is using a USB adapter, or rather 2 to be honest.

As the USB port in it, is a micro USB, I have a Micro to normal adapter, and then a splitter so that I can connect both a Keyboard and the USB Flash to it. This may be a cause, but it works fine when I leave it boot... Windows can use the keyboard ( and a mouse too if I connect it ) and it also sees the files, so under Windows they seem to be fine.

Im just failing to get it to boot from the thing?

Any clues?

I have followed instructions on the web from 2 different places, I have also doen it before, on this, and on the 10" before that topped itself, and I have tried various images, on various USB Drives, and I have tried various apps to write the boot, mostly rufus.

Im sure its me, and Im sure that I am missing somethign so utterly ridiculously simple, btu its got on my nerves now.

I have one I use daily,

it has a system recovery partition, to return to base, no ?
I archived that onto an external drive, to free up space, before I did any windows updates, and understood I could designate that for a future recovery if needed.

they had some fancy setup too, where not all system restore could be deleted because rather than duplicate libaries/dll's in the live partititon they linked them to what was in the system restore.
