Lion King 3D

[iamtheoneneo]

Just a quick one, did anyone see this in the cinemas or now have it on bluray?
I had a quick peak at it the other day, my god the transfer is amazing, cant believe how much tarting up its been given.

im really tempted to get it on bluray, but i remember watching it when I was younger and it literally being the sadest film ever
so for those older enough to reflect - does being a bit older help not turning into a little girl whilst watching it?

good film though just apart from when daddy lion dies I find that part completely unneccessary

haha...

I watched it for the first time at the cinema with my boy.

Completely underwhelmed.

really? was that the actual story , the tech or both?
I guess a certain part of it must be nostalgia...

[Gilly]

All of it. It looked quite nice at first I suppose.

I was lucky enough to get this and Beauty and the Beast 3D shipped over from US.

Lion King 3D is a very good conversion considering it's not full 3D. Picture and sound quality was excellent and the 3D is not always in your face. I must admit though that Beauty and the Beast 3D was much much better and a few "Wow" moments.

I bought it on BluRay today.

Been waiting 7 years for this baby!

Me and some friends were considering going to see it, but simply couldn't bear to spend 8 quid going to see a film we've seen before. Went to see real steel instead. Didn't regret.

I'll be very tempted to see Beauty and the Beast at the cinema if they release it in 2d. One of my favourite films ever.
