Hunting down on the net leads to other cases but no solutions.

I have spent £x upgrading my system, and cannot help but feel a freesat HD box & bluray player would have been a better option :(

Picture is silky smooth, but the lip sync at 24hz is out, so much so that it makes the film unwatchable.

My amp has delay on it, but I believe this is only for analog inputs.

I have my 780G mobo connected via SPDIF direct to the amp.

So all you out there :)......do you live with this apparent issue or what solutions are there bar a delay box at another £150!!!

You cannot pass FFDshow thru HD content so cannot even use the delay this software has to offer, but again do not think works with SPDIF anyhow?

I am kinda giving up here now.

I have a 4050e AMD 780G mobo with HD3200 onboard gfx card.
LG Bluray/HD-DVD drive
Software
TMT
PowerDVD 7 ultra
WinDVD 9

Reclock does not seem to make any difference either.

can anyone help me!

Have you tried delaying the audio on the amp? Most can delay audio no matter what input is being used.

Is this issue only whilst playing Bluray or with .avi & .mkv etc.

I have same setup but using 5600+ CPU & have no lip sync problems.

Maybe its down to software & codecs?

I'm using Powerdvd 8 and audio out via SPDIF. I have no lip sync issues that i've noticed.
