"Liquid" DnB?

When i searched the tube, i got this track....


Its a fantastic track, i was wondering, is this classed as "liquid" DnB?

And if so does anyone have any recommendations?
 
I think "liquid" is a term used to describe music with more harmony and instruments.

Makes the music a lot more chilled out :)
 
Sounds like it to me, Netsky produces liquid.

I'd recommend anything on the Hospital Records label, such as High Contrast, London Elektricity, Logistics and Danny Byrd.

Also, LTJ Bukem, Calibre, Makoto, Seba, Blame, Commix.

I likes my DnB hard and dark to be honest, but Bukem is the one exception to the rule, really chilled and nice to listen to whatever the weather.
 
Yep, this is liquid DnB. Netsky is one of the best up and coming liquid producers. Other suggestions would be anything on Hospital Records as someone has said, e.g - Logistics, High Contrast, London Elektricity, Nu:Tone, Danny Byrd, Cyantific, Mistabishi.

Also worth checking out this youtube channel that specifies in liquid DnB.
 
Mutt is the best liquid DnB producer i can recommend.

Got a fair few of his LP's, love his tunes.


Then their his Alix Perez, who got me back into liquid about 4 years ago, sick producer..


Check this out, from a guy called Blu Mar Ten, probably about 4 years old now. EPIC tune. Used to mix this so much

 
Anyway, my definition of liquid, is that you can come in from a heavy night on, still in the rave spirit, and snuggle up with your missus and **** out too.

Gotta have that relaxing vibe but something is still there to remind you of the night!

Needs to have the flowing harmonys, with extra instruments not regularly heard in most DnB, such as harps and sax etc. Very soothing.

Just my oppinion anyway!

There is such a borad deffinition now anyway, as the guy posted above, it isnt all about artists anymore, a lot of them are moving inti jump up and things, such as people like Cyantific, and High Contrast. I wouldnt class them as liquid, but maybe some of their older bits. Nu-Tone used to be really good at liquid on the Hospital Label.

Marky and Bungle both have some good old liquid bits.

Seba is another good one as mentioned as above, he did some good collabartions with Paradox, ll try and find a few in a minute, like Chamelons. Only thing with Seba and Para is that they can also add that darker more soothing element.

Just remembered, you have even got stuff like Omni Trio, who you could class as liquid with a lot of old school vibe element.

Yeah theres so many different styles of DnB, with sub-genres and sub-sub-genres lol, it's all a bit ridiculous.

I go through phases of listening to the different types, can't say I have a particular fave, but proper wobbly jump-up can get tiresome.
