Baldur's Gate 2 - (No RPG has come close, and perhaps never will

War in Middle Earth - (Amstrad CPC - Years of my 8 bit 'life' were spent on this.)
Laser Squad (Amstrad CPC - I would have said UFO: Enemy unknown, but remembering this late 80's gem always provokes a smile.)
Frontier: Elite 2 - (My introduction to epic PC gaming. Taking off from Ross 154 for the first time and then switching to the rear view, was a revelation!)
Carrier Command - (Amiga/Spectrum/PC - I would love a proper free-form remake of this masterpiece.)
Of course I haven't touched any of these games for years, and that's how it
should be in my opinion. Retro gaming should have the health warning... "Playing this title may lead to disappointment."
