Would love to hear what AI could do with trance music.

AI struggles a bit with trance music, a lot of trance music is created with relatively low quality samples where the AI in training sees the compression artefacts, smush, etc. as features and recreates it in generations with undesirable effect.

I've generated a few trance tracks including variants of my own original stuff in Suno but not really generated anything so far I really like.

Not an ai cover, but rather splendid.

Is this meant to be a comedy/parody?
I like the tune but his voice does nothing for me and sounds very cliche/superficial/added on-top, so I can't take it seriously, sorry.

You're not supposed to take it seriously- it's a mambo version of Sunday Bloody Sunday!

Oh OK, this thread is for appreciation of well made genre switching AI covers, if we can keep it on topic :)

Although I really do not like soul music it is scary how good this is.

Human creativity be damned.

Still, it's using a human created base.

But yeah, I know it can come up with new stuff too. Which is even more horrifying.

I agree :)

Soul really seems to be the best all-round adapter which switching genres for AI remakes!

For some reason Soul or more specifically R&B and also Country music seem to have the most advanced training on the most common AI music models - they can struggle quite a bit with some genres like Trance, though Suno's updated V5 model does do a fair bit better with genres like that than it used to. They also do fairly well with generic electronic genres but not as good as R&B and Country.

Yeah, Soul and Country seems to always come out awesome!
I did have a go with some DnB and AI gets very confused :P
