Was really suprised to have recieved a 360 from my parents this morning, which i'm over the moon with.
My mother bought it off Ebay not too long back, and they didn't think to test it before wrapping it up etc. It was sold as brand new, which it did seem when i opened the box. I noticed it came with a euro kettle cable that plugs into the back of the power suppy, i didn't think too much off it as it came with a uk one.
The problem is the UK one dosen't seem official as it dosen't fit into the back of the power supply (dosen't have the little indentation, so it wont fit). I've got loads of power cables around from old computers so this wasn't too much of a problem, and it boots up just fine.
The only thing i'm worried about is that warranty, will it still have one if it goes **** up along the lines? Looking at the back of the system it was built in mid 2006 so it's well with in warranty for the 3 year red ring thing. It has obviously came from mainland europe somewhere.
Oh, and what ports will i need to open for live when i go back to uni?
