I have been playing with the idea to get a SSD for a while now, So tomorrow I am going to pick up my SSD that I pre-ordered yesterday. Cannot wait. Now I've had problems in the past with the windows install going to a black screen half way thru the install. Apparently that is to do with not having the AMD graphics card driver installed. Is that correct? I have downloaded the latest graphics card driver, Along with AutoUnated. That I will then use my usb to local and install the drivers before windows install? Is this correct?

SATA controller to ACHI before install, and Disable Cool n' Quiet.

Just double checking :)

Also make sure that the ssd is the only drive connected while installing windows as it has a habit of putting a partition on other drives which can lead to problems later on if you change your other drives.

I am running Windows off of my new SSD YAY so fast.

Quick question, I have used the same SATA and power connect that I used for my old Hard-Drive in my new SSD. And I have a 2 TB Hard-Drive to go in for all my storage stuff. But I haven't got the right power connector. I know I have to get an adapter but which one?
