How do you do this?

That is the answer just not sure how you do that process.
 
get everything inside sqrt into common denominator:

49/4 + 49 = 49/4 + 49*4/4
=(49 + 49*4)/4

so sqrt(49/4 + 49) = sqrt((49 + 49*4)/4)

=sqrt(7*7(1+4)/(2*2))
= 7/2 * sqrt(1+4)
 
I think I see it now, the 49/4 and 196/4 is just 245/4 and divide the 245 by 49 makes 5. So now I have SQRT(5 * 49/4) so I can simplify the 49/4 and leave the 5 as it is to make 7/2 SQRT(5).
