Little upgrade

Having some problems with my current PC. Im blaming it on my "dodgey" version of XP. So im going to buy Vista now that it seems all patched up! Or should i wait for Windows 7?!

Also, back when i built mine there were 60gb Raptor hard disks, the biggest ones overclockers do are 150gb? Whats happened? My plan was to install Vista onto the raptor....

What's the issue? Raptors have gotten faster and bigger since a coupla years ago and the 36GB and 74GB Raptors that the line started off with. Now you've got Velociraptors of various sizes that are faster still.

Hmm, £200 is a lot + £160 for Vista. Close to £400, ouch.

I only really wanted a small one to just fit the operating system on?

This is the smallest Velociraptor, for 150 quid. If you really only want to put the OS on it, you might consider a 30GB OCZ Vertex, for £120...

Get the Windows 7 Beta. Will be good until August time and then you can just buy it
