Servers seem to be down a hell of a lot. Where is the best place to check for status updates? (was just about to fire up he PS3, but no point now!!)

Edit: Seems they have locked/closed the LBP section on PS3 forums in USA and suggest using: http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/ instead.

You have a different problem then. I can login to PSN and can see other people are logged in playing LBP. I know the servers are down as next to their names, it does not show which part of LBP they are playing (which is only indicated when servers are up).

Thanks, I'll check it out tonight when I can, see if I can make more sense of it, It's probably too simple that I'm getting confused looking for complicated ways of doing things

I think I've hearted everyone on my friends list thus far, even the ones without LBP.

I still need a few more hearts to get the gold medal.

You need 50 people to heart your level I think. Quite a lot. I have only managed about 10 hearts on one of my levels

Everyone on my list in XMB shows the level they are playing (meaning they are connected to LBP servers). Your name just shows LittleBigPlanet with no specifics meaning you are not connected to LBP servers. Weird.

I've been having connection problems all day. I can sometimes connect to PSN and sometimes not. Driving me insane.

I couldn't connect to the LBP server, eventhough I'm online with PSN.

The other half is playing now though

first game I've got her playing in aaaages!

I've read it as 50 people total across all your levels. :confused:

I might be wrong though.

Anyone else get terrible lag when playing with strangers? Sometimes its ok but others its unplayable.

I'm also not feeling that psyched about this as much as when I was playing the beta. Everyone seemed more into back then.
