LittleBigPlanet - Play, Create and Share.

ive very nearly finished my custom level tonight but now ive had to go to work :( im going to upload it tomorrow at some point.

how do you get people to play it and rate it as a lot of effort has gone into it (although i still think its pap compared to some of the custom levels available)

loving the game too :D

I'll also take a look, I've played most of the OCUK members levels that I know about :)

Just crashed again while finding an online game. I'm never gonna complete these 4x levels. No-one ever joins.

Can we arrange a time so that 4 of us are online and can do the 4x levels. It's stupid waiting hours for 4 people then halfway through the level one of them leaves.

An interesting thought just occurred to me (yes its 5.30am) regards the user-content and the discussion that was on-going earlier that it isnt of the same quality as the MM released levels but is expected to get better.

I think LBP could be another breeding ground for [viral] e-marketers and I fully expect other companies to use it as a platform like YouTube as a marketing tool. Imagine a new movie with a trailer and then a company-created LBP level for it or even a new game. Im unsure what MMs views are on such a thing (it wouldnt be against copyright like some of the user created levels are now), but could be some nice money in the bank from perhaps assisted advertising (like GoogleAd clicks).

Now for a lot of us its probably a distasteful way to use such a game, but it would guarantee decent quality user levels in good quantities (need to make it good to get people to try/heart it) where new items/tools could be introduced into the game to increase its longevity.

Whats your thoughts? It very much reminds me of EA and in-game ads - if done right it could be a very subtle marketing tool. Now I await the zillion posts that say its already being done; if slowness runs in the family; and the rest....

Don't think I'm ever going to get into the creative side of things with this game. Had a play with the level creator yesterday but just cannot be bothered with it. Just don't have the patience anymore.

Servers are down again

Thankfully, i decided to skip a couple of the Indian themed levels and have a go at acing this bunker level that people keep banging on about. I'd completed it in the past a remembered the big wheel bit being an issue, however this time i aced it on my first go?

Shame the first two Indian levels are giving me troubles, just those two and the second to final level left to ace.

I'm supprised you've found those hard.

I found them much easier than some of the others that you must have completed.

Have fun on The Bunker.

I gave up for tonight. I don't know what times you all work or college etc.

Something like 6pm onwards is good for me. How about 7pm tommorow night 4 of us come on to do some levels?

I can be on at 7. I don't know which levels have 4 player sections tbh, but would like to complete all of them in 1 go if possible. I don't mind doing it with randoms as I have a keyboard and headset, but the lag is annoying.

Theres three, 4 Players Levels

The Dancers Court
The Frozen Tundra
The Collectors Lair

Although the Collectors Lair can be done with 3 people, I hear. The rest of the levels are 2.

edit: So me, rp, and orderoftheflame. Who else for some 4 player levels? :)
edit: orderoftheflame, I sent you a friend request.
