I just added on what I have previously stated in other posts further up.
By the way, you know these new beta codes are only really for USA accounts? So I don't think there is any high horse to be climbing on regarding denying others, when these codes are not even supposed to be for EU folk.
But anyway, back on topic.

It's the principal. For some people a US code is all they will be able to get, depends on the site they just happen to get lucky on. Difference is you already have a code, you've already been playing it, but that's not enough for you - you wan't another code just because you "want to see what the US version is like".I just added on what I have previously stated in other posts further up.

I've just submitted a comment and there was 546 on there, so you've still got time if you're quick.

I just think it's bad form is all, it's like people selling Wiis at Xmas for £400+
anyone?![]()
I should be ok now, thanks anyway.Yeah well, I explained my reason (not to "see what it's like" but to try and "carry over my content", you don't like it. I think that is fair enough. So it's OK for people to deny USA users a code, as long as they don't already have one? Principles tend to be consistent. Anyway. Lets agree to disagree. I will give you my code if I no longer need it

Doesn't work unless you're already registered. You can't register on the site currently because they removed the CAPTCHA image from the registration form, but not the requirement for it in the validation.http://www.gamepro.com/contests/LBP/
Theres a form on the page now for your name and email. Go go go.

I must admit your attitude grates a bit, you probably aren't a nasty person but you started off by saying (paraphrased) "yeah well tough ****, life sucks, stop whinging" (your true feelings I suspect) then quickly backpeddled and edited your post to say "but I'll give the key away if I don't need it", and now you're arguing semantics about how it's "just as bad" to apply for a US beta key when you, I and everyone else knows that everyone around the World has been trying to get in on every LBP beta key competition going whether it be Eurogamer, IGN, Gamepro, Gamespot, etc - locality is irrelevant so long as everyone is applying on every site.
I don't have a problem with US people snatching EU keys, or vice versa because ultimately it means *someone* gets a key. I do have a problem with people selfishly applying for additional keys when they're already part of a very small minority of lucky individuals who already have one. Doesn't matter whether it's me that's being deprived of one or someone else, as I said - it's the principal.
Unfortunately whilst I do my best not to get angry about things like this (and Wii gouging, etc) it just depresses me that people can be so mercenary sometimes. I've said my peace now.![]()
