Is it just me in thinking that putting on a rock concert in a few contries won't change much?

Surely it's a political issue which needs representatives from all over the world to agree on a suitable way forward.

IMO putting on a concert for it is rather a short-term thing and the next day people will wonder why they were there in the first place, or is that too cynical?
