I thought they were a bunch of mentalists, Iv never heard of them
They are a 'made up' band used in documentry called 'This is spinal tap', which is a parody film of the rock lifestyle.

For everyone who plays in a band at least, Spinal Tap are a kind of "We arn't worthy :D " thing - you really need to see the film to appreciate it.

They were fantastic, need to rewatch the movie again, shame that the humour is a little lost on some people. Was hoping/expecting the drummer to spontaniously combust or something silly.

Did they play suck my love pump? :p
They played:

Stone Henge - complete with dancing midgets and a real stone henge which assended!
Warmer than Hell (New one I believe)
Big Bottom

Everyone who did get it was absolutely loving it.

I was there as well - Was an amazing concert with a couple of exceptions. I was sitting down the back and they didn't fix the sound sync until an hour into the concert.

Beastie Boys - Decidedly average
Black Eyed Peas - Great energy and really got the crowd going - not my kettle tho
Bloc Party - Decidedly average
Corinne Bailey Rae - Elevator Music - Meh
Damien Rice - Meh
David Gray - OK but not enough energy
Duran Duran - not too bad but sound was crap
Foo Fighters - Utterly brilliant - best of the day hands down
Genesis - Couldn't hear diddly
James Blunt - Needed to go find his Man Card
John Legend - OK but again no energy
Keane - Just brilliant - their pianist is just a legend
Madonna - Left to catch a train - waste of space IMO
Paolo Nutini - Great - really surprised with these guys
Razorlight - OK deffo one of the better acts
Red Hot Chili Peppers - The gods of funk rock delivered
Snow Patrol - Brilliant as always - another great set
Metallica - Just gobsmackingly awesome - so huge and totally took the arena by storm.
Kasabian - Brilliant
Spinal Tap - Hilarious especially having 'every bassist in the world playing' - just gold.
Pussycat Dolls???????????????????????????????????????????????? - What a waste of space - they got the coldest reception and were just useless. Who ever booked them needs a slap. They just have no credibility as artists and how can they think that they can stand up next to the likes of The Foo, Metallica, Genesis and RHCP? They need to go home and stay home.

A mixed bag all up but the good were really good - totally worth the cash paid. Wembly is a great venue. Foo Fighters just went to the top of the list of concerts to see ASAP.

Foo Fighters were definately my favourites. Though i thought Genesis were awesome as well. Collins drumming away and then just strolls down to sing.

I usually like black eyed peas but they were pretty poor. Seemed to be all out of time mostly.

Paolo Nutini - Great

You've..Got..To..Be..*******..Kidding!

He was attrocious. I can't understand how he speaks pretty good un-accented English, then sings like Frankie Dettori.

Crap.

p.s.

was fuming when they cut metallica off...

bbc are ridiculous sometimes.

The editing was terrible...ok it was live but it did annoy me

They also cut off the Beastie Boys three quarters of the way through 'Intergalactic' and completely missed most of Spinal Tap's Big Bottom! (complete with many bass playing extras) :( ...the Tap were hilarious as ever...at least they got the dimensions of Stonehenge correct this time round 'your not as confused as he is' only for the top piece to show up AFTER the midgets walk off with the supports :D some of the audience just didn't get it...oh well :p

Btw was Viv Savage on keyboards? oh and the song was called 'Lick My Love Pump' as opposed to 'suck'
