Who here thinks they will live to 100 years old?

I read that there are over 12,000 people aged over 100 in the UK, up from just 2500 in 1980. Although it did not mention what the odds were of living to 100. Its fun to speculate though.

I give myself 15 years. I'd really like to live to see 2066 though - a thousand years of 'modern' England!

Unlikely for me given my current lifestyle.

I doubt I would actually want to either unless I was mentally sound at that age

Watching that BBC program about longevity was interesting. To live to 100 you need to fast for 2 days every week and you should make it, starting in your 30's/40's/50's.

Maybe....

Who knows..

Only just realised about 2066, should make it there :) I'd only have to get to 70 something...

My lifestyle would probably be fine for it, though I'd probably have to change a couple of small things. I'd want to be mentally and physically sound though.

Didn't see the program, what significance does fasting have?
