Don't think much of that statement. They've offered no support for Benitez despite the rumours of him leaving. It's basically saying we'll decide his future when we come over which will probably be based on whether we progress in the Champions League or not. If that is the case and we don't qualify they'll have to look for someone who's more successful in Europe over the past few years than him. Not going to happen.
dont know what going to happen with rafa if he leaves who going to replace him or who could replace him i will never have jose and who is better then him in the Champion league but he needs to deliver the PL pretty soon

few kids starting silly rumours which like the Henry stuff last year escalated.
Would not have jose or capello over rafa so we should stick with himjose or capello would be likely replacements, its not up to you though is it!
Doubt he'll leave though. People are just dreaming that hes going to be england manage r![]()
Like Burned Alive says it puts to bed the stuff about him already leaving. Also at no point have they ever questioned his position and they say in the statement they're coming over to talk about transfers not about any problems with Rafa......
and we all know how that one ended up.

the problem is actually between G & H , but don't let that get in the way of the media speculation after all i don't want to spoil your fun
its very encouraging to have our new players contributing soo many goals and it just goes to show how they have benefited from being rested for some games. If Rafa has targets he wants to sign that are all on a free he needs the freedom to act now, not in the 'draft season'So far it's Eight Torres beauties, Seven Stevie stunners, Six Kuyt finishes –– Five for Benayoun –– Four from Ryan and Andriy, Three Crouch strikes, two Alonso goals and a belter from Mo Sissoko ... and, er, one each from Sami Hyypia and Nabil El Zhar.
(For the final line, it's a shame Richie Partridge is no longer on the books, or indeed, in a pear tree.)
Twenty-one of those goals are from four of the new players. It's precisely what Benítez wanted with regard to the team sharing the goals around, and even players who are in and out of the side are racking up some good figures. Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard, harangued by the home fans at St James' Park, has rediscovered the goalscoring touch that is so important to the Reds.
