Good luck living forever when you can't even book a GP these days.

billionaires are desperate to live forever though, didn't they already get burnt by a similar company

I'm not surprised, you can't take all that wealth with you, and more time to live = more time to acquire more wealth.
 
I think when you're young the world seems big and random. But as you grow older you see its not that random at all.

I remember when I started going to nightclubs, one in particular. Everything seemed fresh and new each week. Then gradually I noticed familiar faces and saw it was mainly the same people going to the same night club on the same night every week.

Imagine that for infinity.

"San Junipero" episode of Black Mirror covers that quite nicely! The "Quagmire" was the name of the nightclub if I recall correctly.
 
I live my life based on the fact I will day one day. Changing the terms of the contract would be something I would utterly reject, and I reckon a very high percentage that would take on any form of extended life would eventually take steps to end it. Obviously like many I do not want to expire prematurely, but after a good 70+ years I'm sure I'll be ready to embrace what my physiology has in store for me and hope I don't end up sustained in a minimal state in a home somewhere.

Maybe, with widespread extended life we could psychologically evolve to accept and embrace it.
