Living with a 'Plus' on a daily basis?

I found the 6+ too big. Often left it at home when popping to the shops etc, felt too big in shorts. Not great for single hand usage, which is often required with a toddler.

Ultimately sold it and went back to 5S. I do miss the battery life and screen size for videos though.

Agreed on the toddler front! It's far too big for me to hold with one hand and send messages.

I went from an IP6 to a iPhone SE as the 6 was too big for a mobile phone IMO. The best iPhone ever made was the 4S (the IP4 size in general)

I would love a iPhone 4S with upgraded internals, touch unlock on iOS 6.1.4.

It's a phone after all, if I want something with power and screen size I use a Surface book

Having recently just switched from an iP6 to a iP7+, it's certainly a noticeable difference. Although I'm finding the weight of the device more of an issue than it's size. I'm half tempted to switch to an iP7 instead purely as it's more manageable day-to-day. The Apple leather case definitely helps though as by itself, it's quite slippery to hold

I've had a 6S Plus and a 7 Plus, I couldn't go back to a normal sized phone now, when I use my girlfriends normal 6 it feels horrible to use, like a toy phone

Ditto! In no time, the larger phone feels absolutely normal.

Am I right in saying that there are rumours that the iPhone next year could be OLED and have the bezels pretty much removed?

If this happens and they keep the Plus model the same screen size I would be much more inclined to purchase that. At the moment I will stick with my iPhone 7 which I'm still struggling to get used to after my 5S :(

There are rumours of that happening but I doubt it will and I hope it doesn't. Home button needs to stay and not a fan of losing the top bit and making the phone not symmetrical. Also hate android phones that have almost no bezel as theres no place to hold the phone and always end up touching the screen.

I went from 6 to 7+ recently.

Downside - doesn't fit in my jeans pocket as easily.
Upside - everything else.

I had a 6 when they came out and thought that was big compared to the 5 I had previously. Brother went for a 6+ and I pulled his leg about it a lot at the time, but over the last two years I've met more people with +'s and just kind of got used to it.

Got my 7+ on Wednesday and I love it - huge screen, but great battery life and colossally fast to use. No issues with jeans pockets as yet, but it does feel heavier than my old 6. Don't regret my choice in the slightest thus far and at the moment at least will happily stay 'Plus' in a couple of years time.

I've decided on day 13 (from purchasing the iPhone 7 Plus) that it's not for me. I love the screen and the battery life but I'm compromising on actual usability due to the size and actually the weight. So I'm going to return it today and I've already reserved an iPhone 7 to replace it.

I've read that even if it's been open/used it's still possible to return an iPhone? Can anyone confirm? I've also got a leather case which will go back as well, since it's no longer useful without the phone as well

yeah you can return an open and used iphone mate if purchased from the apple store, i did the exact same thing with the 6s+ last year and they refunded instantly, no questions asked. I don't think it was the size that annoyed me in the end it was the extra weight. It feels so much heavier than the standard model

Funny, I was just walking down the road playing with my Plus and I saw someone with a standard 6/S and thought it looked tiny. I've gotten used to the size now and would have a hard time switching down

That's exactly how I feel - it's the weight difference that's the main issue I've found, not the actual physical size. It might be that I would eventually get used to it but could be an expensive mistake if I didn't :o

Weight? +50g is enough to make you consider it "too much"?

Genuinely interested as I'd assume the size is the largest factor (pun intended :p) for people to overcome.

I know - it does sound absolutely crazy but genuinely it's a noticeable difference. It's obviously spread across a larger surface area which normally means you don't notice it as much but it's sadly still apparent. It's more the % increase rather than just ~50g; you're looking ~33% heavier which I've found the biggest issue :(

The problem with the plus I had was that it didn't fit in my pocket. The other main thing is that unless you have bigs hands it's difficult to use it one handed which I found quite irritating. I had the 6+ and the battery life, screen, overall experience is great. Only problem is the design and the size meant that it didn't fit in my pocket, it always slipped out of my pocket and I broke 3 of them. I gave up and switched to the smaller 6s. Disclaimer is that I am very accident prone and hate using cases, if you're careful and baby your electronics the plus is fine. Miss the battery life.

Plus size is great, screen size, resolution and has a proper weight to it. Although my phone doesn't fit in my cupholders. :p

Everyone is different but I personally can't go back to something under 5 inches.
