So are we, you've got a major chufty going on in this thread, do you want a 'I WORK FOR LLOYDS TSB I AM SPECIAL' badge? :p

Do you want a "LOOK I'VE BEEN TO AUSTRALIA AND YOU HAVEN'T" badge?

The guy works for the company and is trying to help the guy out a bit, stop being a tool for once.

If all there call centres are in this country I'll be amazed. I've had this misfortune of having to ring them a few times. Always the same, obviously indian / pakistani voice, who's named Bob or Steve.

Not being racist what so ever but I hate foreign call centres who you can't understand and vice versa. After trying to speak to them about the same thing several tmies and the person not understanding me I eventually just went into the local branch and compalined.

Pathetic TBH and all the Natwest adverts with 'UK only callcentres' really makes sense.

Stay away from Lloyds, they are a bunch of incompetent idiots.

I've had over £3k stolen from my account
I've had someone change my address twice within the same day for 2 different places in the country and nothing was done about it.
They sent my new debit card to the fraud address even after all that went on and me specifically telling them too delete the fraud address' and giving them MY address.
I've had my phonebank account and security number changed over the phone without the "fraud" knowing my passwords or security pin.

Yet as all the evidence built up they are persisting that it wasn't an inside job and it was simple "mistakes" from newly trained staff. Even my local bank manager admitted that it looked like an inside job too, however the fraud department are insisting its not and are shamelessly running off excuses and its been going on since April.

Sickening bunch of ******s and I urge everyone to choose another bank.

What's to say that the call centre you got is in India/Pakistan? Could be in this country but employing people of Indian/Pakistani descent.

And remember that the company can't say "Sorry, you're Indian accent is too strong" and give the job to another UK National but this time with an english accent, as that'd be 'Racist' and we'd have that annoying woman on the news again who reckons everything is discrimination (can't remember her name).

I've got nothing against people of Indian/Pakistani origin, know/met loads of nice genuine had working people and accents that aren't so strong it's impossible to understand them. But when talking to a call centre with loads of background noise and a rubbish (VOIP I guess) line, it'd be easier if the person didn't have such a strong Indian accent.... Not that a I'd prefer an Essex accent :P

Lloyd's definately have other outbound call centres, there's one here in Cardiff. My friend used to work for them and another still does - he gets to harass people about missing their loan payments etc.

I bank with them too, not bad except they love to give me credit I don't need and refuse to update my address because my signature doesn't match the one on file.

As for Indian call centres I sometimes have to speak to colleagues in them, it's often a struggle to help them with simple queries so I can only imagine how difficult it must be for our customers.

Its 1 part of the call centre, of which it seems none of them like it being called a call centre..... bloody finance people :p
