The only way to do anything about it at all is to boycott the products themselves, it's as simple as that really. Avoid anything with the EA branding. The problem would be solved over night.
Second CS Assistant said she couldn't do anything but has passed it on.

I understand your frustration over this issue, I have forwarded your case to our Account and Billing Support. They will arrange a call back within the next 7 days.
EA release a game, i instantly find a way not to buy it.
I never buy from EA, completely flat out refuse.
The biggest issue is Always-On DRM. I mean requiring an Internet connection to play a single player game. Dumbest thing in the history of computer games and EA repeating past mistakes (anybody say Spore?)

The funny thing is they are charging £45+ for this game and people are paying it! That's £45 in the age of cheaper gaming thanks to steam etc. Has the world gone mad or do people just like to reward companies like EA by pulling down their trousers and bending over, time after time? They are ruining gaming as we know it...
Especially when you aren't getting a disc for that £45, it's a complete rip off. You should not have to pay a premium for digital.
