As above really, I have around 300g of beef mince going off today, I'm cooking it up now just to make sure it lasts. Need ideas for a dinner that's pretty much all mince!

I can get other things to go with it in the shop, I just need to eat all this mince today.

Too much mince for me to eat with bologneise, well assuming I have pasta with it at all. I think I'll try the masala kheema or as close as I can come with whatever spices I have handy!

:o

Wha!?!

I use 500g when making a bolognaise, have it as evening meal one night, bang what's left in the fridge and then have it for lunch the next day. (On pitta bread :D)

A nice chilli:

You will need:
* 500-700g of mince
* 4-5 tins of tomoatoes
* 2 tins of red kidney beans
* mushrooms
* Sweetcorn
* Onions and garlic
* Chilli powder

First, Chop some onions and garlic. Add the mince to a large pan on medium heat, and add the onions and garlic.

When the mince is browned, add the tomatoes. You need to reduce this mixture down quite a lot, which will take around 30-45mins on a medium heat (start off higher and reduce the heat as it thickens to avoid burning).

When the consistency is thick, add the kidnet beans (along with the liquid - this will help it to "set" a little more), and reduce further. Add the mushrooms here too.

Finally, add sweetcorn, and add chilli powder to taste. Thicken and stir until it is a nice thick consistency.

Goes well with rice, pasta or baked potatoes. And, of course, beer.
