Local councils should be banished for stealing from the public

If I do get a letter and I do have to pay a fine I may take this up with a local MP and put a complaint in. As the sign should be further back and there should.be more warning tbh.

Nothing wrong with complaining about it.
years ago I got a speeding offence. i was bang to rights and the police officers were more than fair giving me an unspecified speeding offence 3 points and £60 fine however they did say do not contest it as i would lose my licence (109mph in a 1.4 pug 306)**
unfortunately my licence was at the DVLA getting updated to a new version so i could not produce (I had posted off that morning) so the police said i had to go to court instead. I argued that i wasnt failing to produce on purpose and could i have more time, i paid the fine - which was refunded

so in a panic i wrote to my MP who got back to me the following day with a houses of parliament address to write to, which i did and i could not believe it but he actually sorted it out for me, i got an apology from the police for undue stress and i was able to produce my licence at the local cop shop the day it turned up.

So TLDR writing to your MP may help. (note i am the 1st to moan about our MPs and i cant comment on any other aspect of him or his policies, but I have to hand it to Richard Spring for helping out a constituent that time)

**I dont drive like that any more!

had a look at some of the new cambridge bus gates - at least ABRP+WAZE would avoid routes through them, although,
neither of their online maps show what the obstacle is the route is skirting around
, perhaps when you get close they alert you though.

The poor pug must have been screaming. Listed top speed of the 90bhp variant was only 111.

PS iirc it was only 75bph!.

I had an 'indicated' 129mph from my Metro GTi (1.4 103bhp) and then an 'indicated' 143 when I swapped the 1.4 for a modified 1.8 VVC from an Elise.

Private roads of course.
