Local Pakistani Newsagent

A local newsagent to me is selling multi-pack crisps/drinks/sweets at full single unit prices.

Who can I report?

If not trading standards like others have suggested, presumably the manufacturers themselves would be interested.

Can opened. Worms. Everywhere.

This thread will descend into chaos.

I've no idea why I find them so funny, but replies like this are what make GD for me. Maybe it's reading it back in a Shatner voice.....

What is the difference between multi-pack stuff and single units? I know there is a price difference but physically what is the difference? :p

Probably trading standards. But actually what law has been broken? Sure the packs say they are not to be resold but just because the manufacturer writes that on the packet does it hold any weight?

I think you should write a letter to the queen, David Cameron and of course report it to the Police and the English Defence League!

Oh and "Wont Someone Think of the Children!"

:o

It depends on the product in question, some are physically slightly smaller in terms of weight/quantity due to being sold in a multipack e.g. McCoys use to be 50g in single packets of crisps or 35g in multipack bags (might be slightly inaccurate with the weights but that was the general idea).

And yes, Trading Standards are the people to contact if a product is being missold.

Trading standards may be interested. It is naughty to sell multipacks at normal prices but is it actually illegal? god knows.
