just been so busy over last few months - not had time to sort out most of the last 6 months worth of pictures. Still very much a beginner.

Anyway - taking my time to get round to finally doing some of them, and also being pretty much a CS4 photoshop noob, i've been doing some work on a few of my favourite pictures of the year 2009. (as said - not up to the standard of a lot of the pictures on here but this one is probably my personal favourite!)

This one was taken at Loch Ard after arranging a meeting with IGIDK from these forums (yes the one who takes breathtaking pictures). First picture of the day as it happens and probably my favourite of a very limited few!

Nice colours. I reckon the composition could be just right as well, if it had the little strip of water cropped off the picture. Apart from that, well done.

Liking that picture a lot mate. Well done. Composition wise it would be good to see the strip of land leading to the bridge coming out diagonally from the bottom left hand corner of the pic.

Agree with what JR1104 and f-phantom have said, the colours are beautiful but it would be nice if the corner of the picture was closer to the strip of land.

Colours are pretty - the leading lines detract for me I'm afraid - due to the pier leading off the photo I find my eyes leading away from the photo and wondering what's going on off frame... The balance feels a little 'wrong'.

cheers for the comments gents - very much a learning process not only at the composition stage and taking the picture but also the pp'ing etc.

Comments duly noted.

Works for me mate, nicely done :)

Will definitely need to arrange another wee shoot sometime
