Ordered myself an x52 and am about to get flaming cliffs, install hyperlobby, thats what everyone uses.

sold all my IL2 discs with my last pc :mad:

.. But in all honesty, the starforce on the d/l copy of flaming cliffs is not an issue. I hardly noticed it tbh.

My dead CDRW says otherwise, Starforce will never get onto one of my systems again.

Is there anyway to skip levels? I completed one of the A-10 missions last night and for some reason it didn't save my progress.

The only version that doesn't have it is the very original Lockon release, all further releases includng the budget one have Starforce.

The version of lock on which comes with lockon gold does not have starforce also.

The version of starforce which comes on flaming cliffs is not a bad version if you get my drift lol, im very fussey about stuff like this and ive had no probs at all.

Yeah doesnt matter anymore, just bought, downloaded, and installed flaming cliffs, but I patched it before I check the training tracks and half of them dont work anymore because of the imcompatability with the patch.

cant wait for my stick to arrive now!

I'd love to play MP, but my landlord and his paranoid overzealous use of a firewall prevents me from doing so. Am loving making missions and playing them through singleplayer though.

Will do, I need a lot of practice though, the only plane I used to fly when I played before was the F-15, and even then I sucked at pretty much everything.

So tempted to reinstall flaming cliffs and buy a cougar hotas. I have an x45 but the stick is utter poo. The throttle with its inbuilt rudder is superb but I've not found a way of improving the stick so its useless

Winter is my flight sim time of the year kind of thing so might reinstall IL2..... Hmmmm. Black shark looks pretty amazing BTW

Yer been in devolpment for a while, done by a team of programmers who are known for "taking their time".. But it will be good none the less (bit outdated graphics wise though

)...

FSX seems to be pretty good as well especially with the acceleration pack!
