Lock On Grips for Grip shift.

I'm looking to get some lock on grips but due to having Gripshift it appears most are out of stock, having looked at the superstar site I was wondering how difficult it'd be to cut down a set of grips and what kind of modification I'd have to make for the lockrings?

You wouldnt be able to cut down a normal set of lock ons, they need the clamps at each end to hold them securely.
Can you not just move the grip shift towards the middle of your bars and fit normal sized grips on?

Bought a set of Superstar Excel's and cut them down they hold securely with only one end clamped. It would be possible to cut tabs for the second clamp to with a dremel and vice or a hacksaw.

I've got superstar grips that are only locked at one end at the moment so I can be slightly wider on them. Had no problems

You can just cut grips down.
