Find something better to do until half the planet stops trying to take the p$$ while the other half is worried about dying.
Funnily enough, my current two options are doing college coursework or gaming, unfortunately for me my coursework is game development, so doing either isnt the most functional of things.

A grand for an 8 core 16 thread chip.......and that's considered a "deal"? Whats it normally cost? 2 kidneys and a first born?

Good to see asus still think they can get £1400 for an 18 month old gpu.

That's unfortunate, I'd suggest 2080/2080ti SLI super ASUS white for extra outlay and lockdown peace of mind. The more you buy the more you save!

I don't normally comment on awful 'deal' threads, but this one is particularly amusing. Thanks for keeping us entertained OcUK.

Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine instead, people. You'll be stuck back in an office in 6 weeks.

Some prices are ok on the ssd's, but the ti and intel ks pricing are still delusional. The ti is an £800 card at best and the ks is probably worth about £550 realistically.

I'd recommend getting fit if you aren't already. It's sunny, its summer (20c daily here) you're allowed an hour outdoors a day.

Not really what you would expect to be posted as a deal thread. We get that the business needs to make money during this lockdown but I’m sure you were saying the other day that sales were already up. Advertising that 9900KS as a deal has to be a joke surely?

Outrageous prices.

A lot of things these days need to get back to some kind of normality.

I ain't holding my breath.

Wait a few months until the guaranteed recession hits, hopefully not a full blown depression. Which if the Euro goes belly up, which is certainly a possibility. Watch prices crash too.

Ill keep my money in my bank account at these prices.

Whereas the TI cards have been a joke since they were announced :p

don't keep too much of it in the bank though just in case.:D

can't blame them for trying to hook a few more big sales before the reality of the biggest recession in history hits people.

no artificial supply and demand trickery is going to be able to keep the prices of pc hardware high anymore.

Deals? Where are these deals then? All I see are overpriced older hardware....

5700 is ok at £300 and the 3950x is alright but nothing to write home about (sure I have seen it before at £645 not that long ago).

Mind you Gibbo mentioned in the main deals thread (top of forum) that they have sold a number of the 9900KS already....

Spot on. It's gonna be harder than most people think, prices will have to drop. People currently sitting at home feeling sorry for themselves and spending silly money to make themselves feel better and shops are taking advantage of that.
