Logitech are awesome

I would like to take a min and praise Logitech and it's warranty service. I never normally bother to do such things but I have had such an amazing service from them I feel compelled.
Product is a Logitech MX Revolution Product herehttp://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-082-LG
Basically it comes with a small usb wireless adapter and after about 9 months of use it failed. Tried all their troubleshooting they confirmed it was dead. They sent a replacement by UPS and it was with me 48 hours. :)

Fast forward another 3 months and it stops again, tried again a few machines and emailed them. They again tried some troubleshooting and said its possible the mouse etc and they are going to send me a replacement.
48 hours later I open the door to UPS guy again and handed a parcel I was like hmm expecting a small envelope open to find a brand new factory sealed MX Revolution and a note apologizing for the experience. :eek:
So thanks Logitech my new mouse is awesome. Emailed them aswell to let them know how great they where. :)
 
Allways good to hear when companys have good customer service and to hear that you got an actual apology. I have allways used logitech keyboards and mice and i think with posts like this i will continue to use logitech.

Recieves Brand new Momo 3 days later & told to chuck me other one in the bin :confused: Yer righto or i could have fixxed the pedals & given it to a mate ;)

Not to mention the new mouse pads any time i ring them for any one of the last 3 of there mouses i have owned.


Logitech Pawn All & are the example that other companys should follow.
 
Glad to see im not the only one without praise for them, if every company was as good as them it would be awesome to rma stuff :p
 
Thier RMA is very decent, but I'm now on my 3rd mouse in a year (MX510- MX518- MX518) Both have died with a crunching right mouse button, really annoys me too as they're the only mice I really feel comfortable using. If someone else used the same design I'd probably change.

Unfortunately people abuse the quality of their customer service. I've seen it done several times.

However, they provide an excellent returns/replacement service and in my experience have always provided a high quality of product too.
 
Wow, seriously they just gave you a new one just like that?! (Dave18 & malc30)

My MX revolution mouse is skipping, it the cursor freezes a lot. Its really annoying, the receiver is about 70cm away, at the same level.
But on another note. I have set up my mouse as a media control. So I can go downstairs and click "next" on my mouse and the music upstairs will change. so I don't think range is the problem here....

21/09/2006 is the date I purchased the MX (1 year 6 months of use) but its been skipping just after 1 years of use, I didn't do anything about it, instead I purchased a mouse matt hoping it would solve the problem, it kind of did. for 1 month. But now its really annoying and I would like to get it replaced.
I really expected this mouse to last longer than just over 1 year...
 
Do you need to provide them with a reciept or anything? I have an MX Rev that skips all the time as mentioned above, wouldnt mind getting a replacement tbh as its well annoying! Do you not need to send anything off? They just send you another one out? Couldnt you just claim that yours was broken when its not? Anyone got the thier phone number? Anyone make me a cup of tea and rub my back?

I have not contacted them yet. I will do it sometime this week...
