I have the G510 + G13 combo I quite like the G510 for typing, as far as non-mech keyboards go - but it's sooooooo big! If I was upgrading the keyboard I'd get a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard so I dont have to move stuff around so much as the G510 is really wide with the extra G buttons on the left. I shove it up and out of the way when G13 gaming. That's my only gripe about it really. If I didnt have a G13 it would be absolutely fine.

Picked up a g400 for my nephew.

He has small hands but im sure he will love it.

You can plug the charging cord into it and it functions as a wired mouse (uses the wire to transmit the signal not the wireless thing)

Just pulled mine out and still works. The battery is dire on this mouse so I always keep it plugged in now.

Had a read about the G700 and decided against it.

I think I want to avoid mouse wheels with side to side clicking also, just feel too flimsy for me.

Going for a 2013 Deathadder. Will miss some of the extra buttons on my current mouse but can survive without, I think

I had the G9x and the mouse wheel was solid, it only went side-to-side if you wanted it to (never used it apart from when someone posted an image larger than 1200px ~. I expect it'll have same quality as the G700.

It's less about whether it works, and more that it's just another thing to go wrong that I do not need the functionality of anyway
