Has anybody had any experience of the Logitech Cordless Desktop 1500 Rechargeable? Or of rechargeable mice in general.

Was looking for a fairly cheap keyboard / mouse combo and chose this as it was reasonably priced (c. £30), and potentially the rechargeable mouse could save long-term expenditure on batteries.

Apologies if there is a seperate section for peripherals, but I couldn't see it anywhere

That looks like it comes with the normal optical mouse not a laser one?

Either way it's a Logitech wireless mouse so will have a battery life of around a week of full on usage whilst the ones that take AA batteries last months.

I've just seen the "Logitech diNovo Wireless Keyboard Desktop for Notebooks" on eBay for £31 inc del so have bought a set (98 now left on that seller's shop page!) it looks a lot nicer than the one you're intending to buy if you do like stuff that looks as well as it performs :p

Cracking price but I assume by English / Portuguese it means a Portuguese keyboard layout - still completely functional, just with some of the keys moved about. I Google image searched 'portuguese keyboard' and in spite of the aesthetically pleasing aspect of this desktop I'd prefer an English layout. If you don't mind that then definitely a good deal.

Aye I'm not too fussed :p

In any case if something breaks on it you still get Logitech's 3yr warranty (or is it 5yrs I cannot remember) so they will ship you a nice new one in UK form or an equivelant :D
