Is it a good gaming keyboard? or is it just an average keyboard disguised with bells and whistles?

I know about the fancy stuff like the LCD screen and the macro keys that all reviews seem to focus on which look great, but what about the more important fundamental basics?

Is the build quality good? and are the keys and the layout good for gaming?

Would love to hear the opinions of those who own the G19

if you want performance then get a Mechanical Keyboard depends how serious of a gamer you are and how much RTS/MOBA you play

overclockers stock a few but there our others out there such as Das Keyboard which ive seen a lot of gamers use dunno how easy it is to get hold of in the UK

if your not that worried about how many keys you can press and how fast the response time is then a logitech G19 is a good Keyboard and its logitech so win on customer service

The G19 is an amazing gaming keyboard but IMO, it is crap for typing (unless you like typing in the dark like I do)

It is awful for typing, the times i mess up passwords, either that or my fingers are just not strong enough.

Build quality is very good, and i like the layout, very comfy.
