Decided to give a quick go on the new race 07 expansion packs. so i plugged my g27 in and it didn't work. Literally. When i plug in the USB it always calibrates, pretty quickly i might say. Now it doesn't do it at all. Iv re connected the adapter and now it calibrates VERY slowly then the LED on the shifter goes off. Now the g27 is getting very hot around the back if i have it in for a minute.

What do you think the fault is? the adapter or the g27?

checked the adaptor with a volt meter, puts out all 24 volts. just going to take the wheel to bits now to see what the problem is.

Not usually no. they just need the the S/N number and other numbers from the product.

Then find your product and click support and then contact us and fill out the form, they usually respond within a week and their service is second to none.

put it this way i dropped a ornament on my G13 and broke one of the buttons, i contacted them asking if i could purchase a single button instead they sent me a brand new G13 even tho it was my fault it got broke and it was 6 months out of warranty.

Give it a try and let us know how you got on, Sometimes but very rarely with their more expensive items they will ask you to send it to one of their authorized repairers (usually at logitechs cost for shipping if you ask them)

Could also be the motors burning out.Did you used to run the FFB quite high? ive been using my G25 for over 2 years now and still going strong as ever.

nope, i had it on low because i have it sitting on a very unstable desk with an expensive monitor on it. on lfs i never had it above 15%, rfactor never above 10% (depending on mod)

got a reply from logitech
