Logitech G3 problem

My Logitech G3 is fine, but when I finish a game of Counter-Strike Source I notice my PC is still running hot, its the SetPoint software than comes with the mouse running at 50% of my CPU speed. Its locked up too, I cant turn it off without going into taskmanager. This doesnt happen with any other game just CSS. Does anyone know how I can stop this? Is it a setting in CSS, or is it a bug?

Are you using the newest drivers for your mouse?

uninstall setpoint and re-install, or do the same for source

when in doubt a good old format fixes everything
