Logitech G35 Problem.

Hi there, I'm fairly new to the forums so go easy on me please :(

Anyway lets get to the point, So I purchased a G35 from overclockers around Christmas time I've had no problems since the purchase and personally I love this headset. Anyway, my left ear piece has become really quiet compared to the right, I think the bass speaker has broke on the left ear piece. I only use the headset for gaming. This just randomly occurred today and the only thing I can think of that I did to the headset was blow abit of fluff out the ear piece. Well I'm not exactly in a position to go and spend £70-80 on a brand new one.

So if anyone else has any advice at all with a similar problem please let me know cause there is no way I can go back to stereo headset while I wait for a new 7:1 surround sound headset.

Also, when I purchased this product from overclockers, Is there a way I can see if i verified my product for warrenty, because I am 99% sure I signed up for it when I opened this headset on christmas day.

Sorry for the wall of text, any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Jon.

Go over to logitechs website and create an account/sign in if you have one, create a support ticket explaining the problem, They may ask for a photo of it with your invoice (if you have it) and they should replace it for free.

I had a problem with my right earpiece, the plastic that holds it onto the headband cracked and the earpiece was left dangling by the wire. They replaced it pretty swiftly and never took the old one back so I kept using it till the new one came

Logitech customer service is second to none.
+1

i would definitely contact them

they have replaced my earphones 3 times always with the upgrade to whatever i had last

super fi 3 (£65) > super fi 5 (£85) > ue700 (£120)

hope the last pair dont break on me or they might think im taking the **** lol

Logitech support is amazing. Run them up give the
Product PID and they will most likely replace the headset.

Thanks for the replies, anyway, when I woke up this morning, my headset seems to be working perfectly, then I can here like crackling on the left ear piece, it's possibly that the wires have come loose, would they still replace the headset if this is the case? I mean the left ear piece goes dead like before then comes back, and off again, does get annoying.

Ok so I just got off the phone with Logitech and they said that with the product being less than 1 year old, I have to contact overclockers (because that's where I purchased the headset) and they should exchange it, is this correct or was the guy talking BS?

I've sent a lot of stuff back in my time for RMA. THis is true :( more of the stuff i have bought ive had to take back to the retailer. Then after one year back to the ppl.

Logitechs after care is second to none. and overclockers aftercare is 3rd to none. In my books the top aftersales care is in this order

1: Logitech
2: Overclockers
3: ama.... hmm rainforest -_-

So your in luck :D
